Well Joanne and Logan are married and by now they should be settled into being ‘Mr. and Mrs.’. I loved photographing with them not only for their engagement shoot earlier this year but for their late summer wedding. It was a spectacular location on a farm in Palmer. Very Alaskan and so beautiful with the mountains as their backdrop. The day could not have been more perfect with deep blue Alaskan skies, warm weather, wonderful food and drink. The leaves were already turning. A very simple but gorgeous setting for these two to exchange their Scottish Knot tying ceremony among about 100 of their closest family and friends.

Let me tell ya, these two arrived in style! Logan raced down the long winding dirt road to the farm like he was one of the Dukes of Hazzard leaving clouds of dust in his wake. Boys will be boys. It was all in good fun and a wonderful party.

My gorgeous bride. I just love when a woman looks her most glorious on her wedding day. Simply stunning! Joanne’s make up artist was Mia of Alaska Makeup Team. Alaska Makeup Team. Her flowers were designed by: Alaska Flower Shop on Tudor. Didn’t they do a beautiful design? I love the Fall colours.

Okay well, the guys tuxedos were really all black. I just love a twist of blue! Isn’t it pretty?

Fall is full on on in Anchorage, Alaska and it is gorgeous! I love this time of year and it is my favorite season. I have been playing in the leaves a lot lately shooting engagements, families and the little ones. Super fun and I am as giddy as a little girl.
I have a wedding to photograph today, on Columbus Day Holiday. It will be at a gorgeous home on the lake front and with the colours we have right now it shall be very romantic. I am hoping for a bit more of our misty rainy scene to add to the romance of the day . . . I cannot wait!
This is a bridal shoot we lined up recently and I loved what we captured together! What do you think, is it fun stuff? You summer brides cannot get these delish colours and dark, curley tree trunks. Time for java. Enjoy.

So even though my model is stunning, this is my favorite image of the day.

And just one more because we can.

Another blissfully happy couple tied the knot this summer. Jessica and Tony. I adore this young couple. They are just really fun and seem happy all the time. They have no inhibitions about showing their funky side! I think that they are a wonderful match and they don’t seem to take each other too seriously. It’s pretty obvious they are madly in love and I hope for many, many happy years for you both. I am honored to have been chosen to photograph you and your family and I look forward to years of family photographs. I feel truly blessed to have clientele who are super fun, like to laugh and yuk-it-up and where there is always love and kindness.

A very relaxed bride shows us that great planning went into her party event.

Jessie and her father cried like babies when they saw one another for the first time before the ceremony. Very tender moment. He seemed very proud of his little girl.

The brothers-three and best man. Handsome lot!

This was to be an all outdoor wedding at Lake Lucille but it rained hard on us that day. I did not see that rain dampened anyone’s party mood! This family had a blast regardless.

A little bribery of a kiss with the bride can go a long way for the little ones.

Let’s get this party started!

Yes, that IS our groom gettin’ his groove on and showing his new mother-in-law how to move on the dance floor.

So sweet together. Wonderful party you two! Congratulations again.
