I just love to photograph families. Especially this family. I can just see the love of big sister as she looks at her little brother with awe, amazement, and pride. They have incredibly perfect natural lighting in their home. Not to mention all the lovely textures and colours throughout the house. I really got a little giggle out of seeing the kids handprints on the big picture window on our backdrop. It just adds to the sweet magic of family ties. The kids are just so happy and so beautiful . . . well okay, all children are beautiful. I enjoy going over images later, after our session, and seeing which child resembles which parent the most. Anyhow, we added in the two family dogs and have one big happy family of 6. Enjoy and thank you guys, for choosing me to photograph you again!

This little beauty loves her mantis glasses . . . who wouldn’t?

. . . and her snakes . . . and her dinosaurs. This little gal is extremely bright. I see her with a very scientific mind.

This handsome guy has the most steely deep gray eyes. Just look at this sweet little face. I just wanted to kiss him all over those little cheeks . . . but I did not. I might never be asked back again!

I don’t know who cuts her hair, but it’s the sweetest little haircut for a girl. Her hair hangs in her eyes whenever she feels like hiding behind it. Love it!

We got some pretty magical family images this day. So I have many different processes to get this fantastic variety of keepsakes for this family. When everyone is having fun, how can you stop photographing? Believe it or not, we captured all of these in an hour.

Of course, we had to stop for snacks. After all, playing can be very hard work.

Very handsome couple! . . . do you see the sweet little handprints on their big picture windows? Kind of fun.

Okay, when you get a beautiful princess like this, I certainly do not have to work all that hard. The images are just phenomenal and it’s because she is just gorgeous! We started our session without much rain, though the day certainly looked of it. We had success in capturing what we needed but then quickly we were in the middle of a tremendous rainstorm and I was ready to call it quits! Winds starting blowing, I got chilled and we were hit with torrential rain. Something Anchorage does not get all that often – Extreme downpour! I will admit that I wanted to go inside but Miss Nicole would not let me stop. I would like to think it was because she was having so much fun. So umbrellas and rainstorm, we photographed and got some pretty fun stuff. Her hair got wet and windblown but I feel it just adds to the magic of this unique senior session. . . and the stormy ones are now my favorites! Enjoy. Thanks again Nicole! It really was fun. Take notice of Nicole. This beauty queen sings and entertains publicly. Gorgeous voice.

I photograph in this area quite often. Anchorage’s City Diner is a gorgeous building. I love the colours that the glass and steel will give me. And if you have not yet been, you simply must eat at Anchorage’s City Diner. Great food and the decor is really fun and nostalgic.

This is the girl to watch out for.

I love to photograph families! Especially in the fall. I photographed this couple for their engagement, years ago and then their wedding. Now they have two children in the mix. I feel so privileged when I get return requests for family photos.
Big brother Jacob had a blast with the falling leaves but little Lucas never wanted to be out of his parents arms so each time we put him down, he cried. But we managed to get some fun shots anyhow and I noticed that both boys were completely infatuated with the leaves. Isn’t it fun to see the little ones learning and enjoy watching their own discoveries? Our light was a bit harsh but we managed to capture some wonderful fall colours!

Sweet little Jacob consoling his brother Luke who seemed to think we were terrorizing him by setting him on the ground.

This couple is so adorable and really perfect together. I love you guys. See you next year!

This capture really cracked me up. “Like Father, Like Son”. It wasn’t planned.

Sorry, just could not resist! Cute little bum.

Not to spoil the fun but this is how mom got Jacob to enjoy the falling leaves.
