Positively Dashing!

It was difficult not to get some good shots of this dashing young man. I really like these images because my subject is not really looking right at me, the camera. These are much more editorial in style, which is how I love to document photos. Enjoy!

Unique Sense of Style

I really enjoyed photographing with this young man for his high school senior photographs. Striking good looks. This guy has a fabulous disposition. He was pretty game to go anywhere and photograph for me.  I think we got some pretty cool stuff. What do you think?

I know that the high school senior girls always want to be photographed and the guys only do it because their moms make them. But I enjoy photographing the guys too!  So thank you, William, for choosing me to photograph you. . . even though you hated your hair, I think it looks uniquely cool. And thank you for being a FANTASTIC, enthusiastic sport. I really had fun photographing with you. Great collaboration.

I really like William’s unique sense of style. He has a super cool ring in his left ear, snake-eye studs in his lower lip and what a fantastic belt buckle! And yes ladies, his eyes really are that blue. They also can look a very gray depending on his background.

Thanks again Will, you were a fabulous sport! I hope that I don’t embarrass ya too much.

A Knight in Shining Armor

What a fabulous couple! Congratulations Aleasha and Patrick. This was a most unique photography session because of the locations. Got lucky with the Alaska Railroad Train coming through. I really love the Alaskan colours of blue and gold. We headed to Beluga Point in Alaska along Turnagain Arm for their wedding photography.

She is as cute as can be and they are so perfect together. He is the utmost of gentleman. His attention was on his bride the entire time, very protective and making sure that she was comfortable and safe. I say safe, because we had some adventures! We had the best time shooting together!  After their ceremony, we headed to the waterfall and I was in awe as I watched this couple climb the steep rocks. Aleasha in her dress and heels. I swear, I witnessed this strong beauty walk anywhere you could possibly think of in those little strappy heels. And Patrick – swiftly manoeuvring the steep rocks carrying a small wedding cake, in patent leather shoes - never skipping a beat. These two are not only in incredible shape but they are highly skilled military. I feel very privileged to not only to have been chosen to photograph their intimate affair but to know them.

Look at this girl climb steeeeep rocks in a wedding dress! Of course, her knight in shining armor was right there beside her. And look at that gorgeous dress!

I just love to photograph couple’s in silhouette. This was taken at Beluga Point in Alaska.

We found this awesome piece of burnt wood to use in our photographs of the wedding rings. I wanted to take the wood with me, loved the rusty nail but left it for someone to enjoy photographing with.

We took some “Bella, Bella” shots in their Suite at the Anchorage Hotel Hilton.

Aleasha had this fantastic idea to have a mini wedding cake made for our location photos. The baker makes beautiful cakes. Check out their website here. Superstar Pastry Design.

Just one more for silliness as night falls upon us. Both are obviously in tip top shape! Thanks again you guys. It was a pleasure.
