Hand made Knit Caps

This is Ashley and Nicholas. I photographed Nicholas with mom and dad when he was just a newborn. Now he is 5 months old! Look at those incredible bright blue eyes and his perfect little hat. I think Nicholas got double the deep blue because mom and dad have blue eyes.

Gawd, I love this face!

Just the day before, I photographed another little guy for the 2nd time named Luke. Luke also arrived with the perfect little hat. I asked both familes where they got these fantastic hand knit hats and they were both purchased at  belly, baby and beyond, found in Eagle River. So I take a drive out from Anchorage to check out this store and all the collection of hand knit caps for babes. Wonderful collection! I bought 2. The owner Alexis and her daughter were there minding the store. Very friendly ladies. There is another incredible shop attached called Red. Both areas are the coolest consignment shops I have ever been in. Both worth a visit! Tell them Renee Vanni sent you.

Chick, Chick, Here

This really wonderful family invited me to photograph them at one of their homes, here in Alaska. They have this place at the base of the Eagle River mountains and what a spectacular view they have! The property is gorgeous and very picturesque. I was so excited to see they have chickens! Really pretty chickens. The 2 very young boys just love their chickens and I had so much photographing them. I really did not want to leave. It was such a joy. Just a peek here, but we captured some fantastic family heirlooms. I hope to be invited back again soon. 

A Newly Born Angel

This little guy is 2 1/2 weeks old. I had so much fun photographing a newborn. I don’t get the opportunity often enough. What a precious little bundle. Congratulations.
